1. Birketts LLP (“Birketts”) is the sponsor and data controller in respect of the responses to this client feedback survey. Birketts wish to protect the privacy of visitors to this part of the CustomServe website, which is managed by Acuigen Ltd (Acuigen). www.customserve.com is a domain used by Acuigen to facilitate the project.

Acuigen is the data controller in respect of technical data collected by the use of the CustomServe website, such as (but not limited to) your IP address and browser type, together with the date, time and duration of your visit when you visit the website. 10. The survey introduction will notify you if your feedback is attributable or non-attributable. If attributable your information will be passed by Acuigen to Birketts associated to your details. If non-attributable, your feedback will not be associated with you, but will be passed back to Birketts anonymously for research and statistical purposes.
11. Your personal data is processed by Acuigen based on you giving explicit consent to that processing to the controller; Acuigen will provide the means by which you give your consent (for example, by using appropriate forms, fields or tick boxes).

Participation is optional; you have a right to withdraw your consent to the on-going processing of your personal information as part of this project and you may request that information you have provided as part of the survey be removed and destroyed by contacting Birketts at data@birketts.co.uk

Birketts will keep your personal data in

the end of Acuigen’s involvement
in this client feedback project Acuigen will be instructed to delete the
data it holds from its operational networks.
17. Acuigen record your IP address and browser type, together with the date, time and duration of your visit when you visit the website in order to facilitate security. Acuigen is the data controller for this purpose.
18. Acuigen and Birketts will protect the personal data which
you provide to Acuigen by taking appropriate technical and organisational
measures to safeguard it from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure,
unauthorised modification or unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
19. All Acuigen employees and any third parties it engages to process your personal data are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

When you give Acuigen personal data, Acuigen may send, receive, store and/or process the data electronically to and from servers anywhere in the world, including countries outside the European Economic Area.
